At my request, seller provided a receipt that Canon may accept. Hopefully, I won't need to find out.

It came with a US Warranty card and the seller provided a copy of his original purchase receipt of 5 of them for resale. I knowingly paid a little more bc this model camera is new and impossible to find at retail.
