Nitsa Olivadoti is the author of Cicada's Choice and Cicada's Consequence. She graduated from Bridgewater State University in 2000 with a major in Fine Arts and a concentration in painting. Her visual work has been displayed in student shows, online and local galleries and cultural festivals. In recent years, she has moved her creative focus to writing. Nitsa is of Greek descent and had been wanting to write her maternal grandmother's life story since the age of nine. As she wraps up the three-part series, she is proud to have been able to integrate her life with fiction and world history. Nitsa has completed extensive research in European history, particularly on Greece during World War II, in order to support her grandmother's recollection of past events. Nitsa also recently spent time abroad in Europe which brings current situations to light by enabling her to become a witness on the ground.
