This vacuum is fantastic and easy to use. If you own a small home you'll find you'll keep the place clean more often than a big cumbersome vacuum. The downside is you only get 20 mins on normal suction and a measly 8 mins on turbo. It also doesn't pick up slightly larger pieces of debris that I've found other vacuums would. However, the upside of having a light, easy to emtpy portable vacuum is worth every cent.

The Dyson V6 vac works well. I like that the battery is replaceable which is a huge shortfall with my Dustbuster and many others. But there is a design fault with the power head. It's common for hair and fibre to wrap around the spinning brush bar and seize it up. I had to buy a set of special screwdrivers to pull it apart. $20. And it's not such a simple job. Also I went to the Dyson Australia website and it doesn't look like they support their products with spare parts! What the hell??

I am thrilled with my Dyson. I know it is an older model, but for the price it is invaluable. I have some arthritis which makes using a regular cleaner difficult. This one has great suction, is light to handle, very efficient. Sorry I took so long to buy one.
