Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Tuning Pegs
I recently acquired a fully stock 2007 Mustang Bass, "crafted in Japan." The original tuners weren't that great, the downside of import guitars. After finding a post on a bass forum of it being well known these tuners kinda stink, I found these Gotohs. These replacements did the trick, very tight with high ratios. I'm pleased that the tuners say "Made in Japan" on my Japanese bass; I'm almost certain the originals are Chinese pot metal. Now my bass tunes great. Direct fit, no modifications necessary. You may have a lot of trouble getting the original bushings out, though. If you want to remove them, I recommend the wing nut technique (Youtube: "Removing tuner bushings from guitar headstock with 2$ tool"). Can't go wrong with these, they look about 95% identical to the ones they replace and work about that much better, too.Read full review

Best tuner you will ever buy for $45a set. Perfect chrome finish , like butter when turning the pegs, and some what of a vintage elephant ear look. Reminder: The string shaft diameter is smaller than Fender P or J headstock,

Smooth and high quality tuners from Gotoh. All made in Japan Gotoh bass tuners are excellent, in my experience.
