Stephen W. Plumb is a research librarian at the James J. Hill Library in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is a former director of the State of Minnesota Legislative Reference Library and newspaper librarian at the Minneapolis Star Tribune. He is the author of Notable New York: The West Side & Greenwich Village. He lives in St. Paul, Minnesota.
