awesome camera, I already had my own lens, so the good quality of my lens combined with the excellent, new, innovative technologies of the Sony a65 just gives you stunning images... I like the picture effects feature of this camera, so you save alot of time by just shooting the pictures you want and not having to do post editting on photoshop. Like most sony ads, probably the best feature is the 10fps shooting because it doesnt use the traditional flipping mirror mechanism while shooting but instead, their own developed translucent technology, which saves fractions of fractions of seconds - allowing more frames to be shot - therefore you'll hardly miss the rare moment. I bought this camera, because i was stuck with sony A mount lens and needed an upgrade from my a300. Definitely well spent money, as it was the cheapest i could find at that moment. Not sure how this compares to the a77, all i know are a 'few' additional features plus a few 100 dollar gap in between - not worth it, in my perspective, maybe more pro photographers find them usefulRead full review
We bought 2 of these cameras because it has everything we needed on it,very easy to use without beeing to complicated.I would very highly recomend this camera
I've toying with the idea of upgrading for awhile, having had Sony equipment before stopped with it. Once I upgraded the firmware I don't have any dislikes, it was a bit slow when looking through the viewfinder. This product is an improvement on other Sony cameras I've used.
Gorgeous Sony camera, easy to use and relatively light and compact for Sony. Lenses for alpha cameras interchangeable with this camera so I can use the same lenses for my older cameras with this one. Clear images with 24.3 mp means I can enlarge my photo's to poster size and still have clear pictures. Loving the camera, only thing I don't like is the price of the lenses to go with it!
Still learning about all the features. This is my first SLR and it is complicated if you want to use it correctly and competently, which is what I want to do eventually
