Well let's start with size, nice size, nice and small easy to hook up. Now as someone who's been in car audio for almost 35 years I will say this it's got good power and sound although I'm quite sure it is overrated just like the rest of their car amplifiers. For the application I'm using it for it is perfect now for the cons this is the second one I bought in a year the first one I bought brand new from Walmart a year ago it lasted three months before it got too hot and the caps blew up, so now it's just a matter of time and we'll see how this one does. Chevy can handle a 2 ohm load but I would not recommend it if it gets plenty hot with a 4-ohm load I would almost guarantee a 2 ohm load it wouldn't last long at all before it blew up.

This amplifier simply does not deliver 200 watts or even 100 watts of energy into a 4 ohm load. With the volume cranked just below distortion levels it is drawing only 3.7A @ 14.4 volts peak. That is 53 watts (peak) of electrical energy. After using it for a few hours I noticed that the control wire no longer shuts the amp on and off. It is on all the time once power is applied to it regardless of the signal wire being used. The audio quality though is Ok and better then similar class D amplifiers I have purchased. It does do the job I am using it for so I am happy.

Very cheap. Sounds OK. Close to 50 or 60 watts at 2 ohms.
