SteelSeries Merc Stealth Keyboard , I have been using this keyboard for many many years. They are getting harder to find now new. I bought another one for my son this year. This key board is most comfortable , easy to game with keyboard I have ever used. I have several 1000s of gaming hrs on mine. From keyboard punishing games like World of Warcraft to not so punishing games like World of Tanks. It has always did an extremely good job. Everything works as it should such as led back lighting, the ability to have over 30 extra keys on the attached game pad that are very comfortable to use and still be able to chat or game with qwerty layout of main key set and the durability has proven to be extremely good. I'm not for sure what the release date was for this keyboard, but I do know there are some new functions that I would love see added to a board with this type layout. Better macro functions, more color choices, mechanical keys (although I like the feel and sound of this keyboard) I would also like to be able to have a usb 3.0 hub on this as well. Also a touch screen with finger print lockout would be nice. But trust me this board may be dated but I would guess that it can still hold its own in a keyboard shoot out with any new board on the market. If you can buy one get it! I may even buy an extra one to put up just in case mine ever fails but until then I am just going to keep on hammering on these keys!Read full review

Compared to my Z-board Night and days better ,I love the illumination on keys it makes for gaming in dark alot better and the key feel is far superior to that of the z board. I would have bought to but the price killed me at 200 when they where 80-90 when they came out kills me ,but i will buy another if this ever fails .

This keyboard, by far was and is the best gaming keyboard That was ever created! I do not know why they decided not to make them anymore so whenever or if ever you find one snag it!

The best keyboard ever made and one of Steelseries' best products is no longer in production. I bought this keyboard 6 years ago at $60 dollars. I love it so much for its left hand placement that I absolutely had to purchase another. My original didn't even break. In fear that something one day might happen to it, i bought a second one at $75. Although the LEDs on my new one do not work, every button clicks perfectly; function over form.

I bought my first one, about $70, when they first came out. Very responsive, and good key feel. I love the angled left hand keys. When it died last year, I replaced it with a new one I had bought on ebay years before, just in case. I'm glad I did as I paid less than $100. As soon as I plugged in the new replacement, I went on ebay to buy another, Got lucky and found a new on for $150. It's in my attic. I don't understand why no one makes angled keyboards anymore.
