      Much better than the first version, good value, great photos in good light conditions

      I am happier with this G2 version compared the original lens that I owned and sold. This lens feels and looks great. I love the barrel lock when out in the field. Going out this morning for more trials but so far the results are reasonably good. In good light, with good technique and the right subject, angle etc this will do fine. In less than ideal conditions it cannot match the 10 to 20 thousand dollar Canon lenses, but you shouldn't expect that at this price point.
