An ordinary man has an extraordinary gift, a gift that gets better as he gets older, but remains a mystery. It is his one chance to find redemption for, and to live down, a long siege of recklessness and weakness in his past.
Jeff Martin lives in the Kansas City metropolitan area and has worked in the advertising and marketing fields for close to thirty years, all the while writing fiction as the spirit moved him. He grew up in Mississippi on the cusp of the Civil Rights Movement and the Vietnam War. He credits this specific placement in time and geography as a major influence on his view of humanity. Mr. Martin has written an earlier novel, Mississippi Neon and is currently working on a third book. He has published poetry in national, international, and regional publications.
