Author Biography
Jennifer Hampson lives in Western Colorado with her husband, two daughters, a spoiled rotten cat, a Border Collie dog, and five pampered horses. Jennifer grew up around horses and continues to be active in the horse industry to this day. She is a 2003 Colorado State University graduate in Equine Science and is a certified western riding instructor. Jennifer and her husband own and operate an oil and gas environmental remediation company over the past eight years. The company specializes in storm water mitigation, rangeland re-vegetation, and noxious weed mitigation. Jennifer enjoys all aspects of the horse industry but her favorite equine events to participate in are reining, working cow horse, and cutting. She also enjoys helping fellow up and coming entrepreneurs offering small business consulting. With two young daughters to raise, and an endless supply of wildlife to defend the winter hay supply against there is rarely a dull moment in the household. If the wildlife is at bay, the kids are under control, and the business is running smoothly she focuses her energy writing about her experiences and expertise in the horse and business world.
