Author Biography
Pablo Merida de San Roman (Madrid, 1967) is author of several books related to cinema, such as monographs dedicated to the filmmakers Sergio Leone (Ed. Jucar, 1988) and Michael Curtiz (Catedra, 1996); encyclopedias, Cinema (El Cine. Larousse, 2002) and The Spanish Cinema (Cine Espanol. Larousse, 2002); or studies on phenomena of popular film, type The Boxing at the Movies (El boxeo en el cine. Laertes, 1995), Zorro and Other Vigilante Film (El Zorro y otros justicieros de pelicula. Nuer, 1997), Film Communications (Comunicaciones de cine. Everest, 2009), Film in the Kitchen (Cine a la carta. Raima, 2009) and Prison Film (Carceles de cine. Everest, 2011). Recently, no relation to film, has also written books for childrens: Dinamo Kid (Kindle, 2012); for youngs Learning to Be Bad (Aprendiendo a ser mala. La Esfera de los Libros, 2009) and Lying if I Said I Love You (Mentiria si dijera que te quiero. La Esfera de los Libros, 2009); the funny biography Jack Johnson in Spain (Kindle, 2012); and the novel The Day that We Lost the Spider Sense (El dia que perdimos el sentido aracnido, La Esfera de los Libros, 2010). At present, works in different media.
