The United States Fish Commission was developed in 1871, where it's name has changed multiple times to the current name, the National Marines Fisheries Service. The Commission is responsible for investigation of fish and other oceanic animals in the U.S. Lakes, rivers, and coastal waters. They recognize issues, then report to Congress and the various states to make sure restorations transpire. This is an annual report of what has been going on in the commission for this particular year.
