Mary Kay has excellent standards for most products. This brow liner in particular functions very well, has great color, applies easily, and whether I use the twist up or the wooden, I am pleased with the performance. I do prefer the wooden liner just because you get more, and I don't mind sharpening it.

I had high hopes for this brow pencil - I have platinum blonde hair thus need a lighter shade (with no red) for my brows. This had good to great ratings but it doesn't apply well and the shade is just ok. I would not purchase again,

Love the Mary Kay Blonde eyebrow pencil! First, you sharpen it yourself so you know how much is left and when it's all used up, unlike a mechanical pencil. Second and most important it really is a nice blonde color. Most blonde eyebrow pencils are way too dark and not really blonde, they are more like light brown. The color is great if you have blonde eyebrows and want them to look natural.

I've tried all brands of eye brow pencils and this is by far the best color match and it goes on smoothly, looks natural.

I have used these Mary Kay Wooden eyebrow pencils for over 20 years. They are retired, and ebay seems to be the only place to find them. The Chestnut color is perfect for me. No other eyebrow pencil really compares, not any. I used to use Estee Lauder in a pinch, but the MK pencil is the best. Must have the old wood ones, the newer retractable ones just are not the same. The pencil makes nice featherly very natural brows. BUT because these ARE old, sometimes they tend to break off when sharpening, and not unusual to grind off 1/2 inch or more to get to more product. That's just the way it is. I do expect this when I do purchase one, and it's a bonus if I do get one that does not do this much.:) I have several little nubs I have saved for emergencies. Wish someone would make a pencil that compares to this, but I am happy I can still find them on ebay.Read full review
