What a Camcorder! I've used the Camcorder to record my bike rides, for a tour I'm doing through France. The easy use of this is great and all the accessories it comes with. I've used the remote a couple of times, but I find its not necessary for the majority of my bike rides, but would be very useful for capturing moments when your not near the camera. The screen is so handy aswell, being able to play back the footage and review it. The battery life is phenominal even at 1080p 60fps. I've got a 64GB memory card inserted, and an external power pack. Of all the action camcorders I've come accross, I believe this one to be the only that supports an external power pack whilst in operation mode. Most other cameras will stop recording and turn to charging mode once an external power pack is connected in my experience, were this one doesn;t. I have a custom external power pack for the long bike rides 8-10hrs, where at 1080p 60fps, no camcorder alone would be able to run for. Couldn't stress enough how good this product is, and would easily recommend this product to a friend.Read full review
This camera is fantastic, takes loverly pitchers and video easy to down load to the computer and easy to use when you get the hang of it, Maybe a bit on the heavy side on a helmet on a rough ride, great with the remote and being able to connect to the smart phone by wifi with the app can make it so much easer to use and set up. All in all out of a ten I would give it a nine +, a very good and durabel camera for all sports. Being water proof to 3 meters without a case is a bones. Thank you Roger
Pros: Low profile, good battery life, functional menu, decent quality images, lightweight Cons: No inverse function (images remain upside down), USB and HDMI port not easily accessible (even when using the alternate cover), not a GoPro. This camera mounts very easily to the side of a helmet and the ability for the device to be rotated means that you can stick the mount in any direction for maximum surface contact. There is little noticeable wind resistance for speeds up to 120 km/h. Any faster and there is slight resistance but not enough to make a difference if you have to turn your head. This is NOT a GoPro. The picture quality is not comparable and well below par when compared. Then again, you're not paying GoPro prices either. Colours are not as vibrant and the contrast is too high. If you are handy at Final Cut Pro, you could probably correct the flaws, but it shouldn't need this. However, as an everyday camera to record traffic to and from work, the quality is more than good enough (which is why I bought it). Upgrading to the Ghost HD will suit you better if you want better quality.Read full review
