This heavy duty, professional, ZOMEI Tripod is a heavy duty engineering masterpiece. I use a special built Shoulder-Mount video camera, weighing 5.50Kgs, and is 0.75Metres long that is easy to install and remove from this ZOMEI Tripod. The stability of the Tripod is excellent, as is the performance of the Fluid Head system. I would recommend this ZOMEI Tripod to anyone who is looking for a heavy duty camera tripod.

For the price this is a good tripod to get you up and running. Compared to other tripods in its price range I would say its well worth the money. However, dont expect the head to be full fluid motion. Its either locked off or in motion at one speed, which is ok, but in no way comparable to other expensive proffesional tripods obviously. The motion is certainly usable for pan and tilt, but tracking is not as smooth as I would like. Coming from a lightweight tripod its definately an upgrade for me. I am happy overall, its study enough, has a good height, and is certainly usable. One other gripe is I had trouble levelling the head. I ended up using tyhe bubble to get it roughly level and then using my screen to level by eye.

Here's a great budget solution for those of us who need a heavier, sturdier set of tripod legs for working with a heavier camera or for shooting video; that won't move or wobble as readily when panning and tilting. The tripod is still quite light compared with a true professional item like a Miller, and when applying a lot of drag on the head, a sandbag or two may be needed to weigh the tripod down. For mine, the head is less impressive than the legs however: it's heavy and doesn't have as fluid an action as one might dare to hope; at least not with my light, compact cameras. For my needs, I found a good workaround using a Yunteng YT-950 (~$50) head with a Puluz 75mm half ball adapter (~$30) for a total spend of just on $200 for a solution that really is capable of producing silky-smooth pans and tilts with light, compact camera gear. The Yunteng head isn't anywhere nearly as robust as the Zomei unit that came with this tripod, and cannot take a big camera but perhaps the Zomei head pans and tilts smoother with a heavy camera on it? I have no way of knowing. But I'm very happy with these Zomei legs in concert with the Yunteng head and can recommend the combination to anyone looking for as cheap a genuine, fluid-panning video tripod solution as possible to start out with.Read full review

Great value for money. 3 and half Ks of dslr with lens and rock solid. Quick and easy to use. QR plate locks in securely with safety latch. Will it take 20 years in the field? Maybe not but still excellent value for money. For the serious photographer with bigger gear you couldn't go past it. Grab one before the price goes up!! 👍👍👍

It is a very stable unit with clamp fittings which I don not prefer but they seem to work. It is very stiff to use at first but I am hoping it will ease with use. A good buy at the price..
