To start off with, the set up is easy like most webcams. It is very convenient that is has a built in mic. You just have to remember to change the option to show the quickcam for your mic to use. Picture quality is good, but not great. I went from an Intel webcam, and Intel's picture quality is much clearer and the video flows smoothly. I'm not saying that the Logitech isn't bad, but could be better. At times it seems to "hiccup" when running. The main reason for my purchase on this particular one was the price and the use of the built in mic.
Need a quick and simple webcam? This is it! Very easy to install - I downloaded the software from Logitech's site (use the QuickCam 11.1 software & driver for best results), followed the step-by-step instructions, and it was up and working within 10 minutes. I use this webcam with Yahoo! Messenger and it works well. For a newbie to webcams, this is a great first camera!
It´s been about a month since I purchased it. I´m really satisfied with its features. good web cam view quality even with poor lighting also the built-in microphone is fantastic! I dare that according to price it´s the best one on its type. Pictures taken are quite clear, and the amazing focusing goes wide open. The price paid on it really worth it, works excellent on chatting scanning, Windows Live Messenger and Skype conversations. Delivered on time and a much better product than I even expected. I already own a small Logitech webcam; this was a spare. It's become my main camera, while my old workhorse Logitech webcam is now the spare. Great quality, easy set-up. If you need one, this is an outstanding value. Perfect!

To get started I should say the first webcam I bought was a Logitech QuickCam STX, so when my girlfriend and I started useing Messenger and found out we could video chat face to face it was a great reason to get her a webcam. First I looked around on the web to purchase one and at a big store near by that everyone knows about,( A name starting with Wal) but it was a little more than what I wanted to pay, seeing how I only spent 2 dollars for mine at a used store. Anyhow Ebay had a large assortment of Logitech cams and at a great price so I bought one just like mine and sent it to my girlfriend. She said it was very easy to install and for her and a computer that was ideal(she likes the easy button LoL) The cam works great and is easy to ajust to a really good video quality. It also has fun video effects and takes really good pictures and can record nice video. We are very pleased with Logitech and it`s free support. I have been useing my used Logitech for over two years without a single problem. I`m sure you`ll be happy with this webcam to. Also keep in mind there are other Logitech cams avaliable along with many other brands but this one has a great price and works well.
