After having many, many sets of irons there is one basic rule: try them before you buy them because they're like shoes - what feels good to one person may not feel good to someone else. Having said that, I am very impressed with these irons. I used them once (a set not even adjusted to me - lie, length etc) and played by best game in a long time. I purchased a set and then played even better. I wound up giving my new Callaways to my son! The forged feel is great, the forgiveness is great and just the ease of hitting these well is a great feeling. And these are cheap in the used market - what can be better! Really, you should try them. Me - mid-handicap, still trying break 80 occasionally and 90 every time.
I've purchased a few Nike Vr Forged and Nike Vr Pro Forged wedges and love them all. I'm new to golf and these work great for me. My friend that's a 6 handicap also loves them and has them in his bag as well.

I have been looking for the right irons for several years now. Tried every iron under the sun, but none of them was what I was looking for. I wanted an iron that would give me feedback but not too harsh. Also, it had to be forgiving, not to the point it corrects every shot but one that gives me a little help on those off days. This is that irons. The Nike Pro Combo OS irons give all that I am looking for and they are very accurate. Before I was not looking at Nike irons but read some reviews on these irons and decided to try them, glad I did. And now that their dropping the price on these irons, it makes them even more attractive. Give these a try, I don't think you'll be sorry!
I've always played a forged iron, but was looking for a little more forgiveness. These irons are perfect, I've tried the Mizuno MX-23's, but liked the slightly smaller clubhead of the OS's. I paired them up with the new rifle project x shaft, and have been very pleased. Hope this review has help. I currently carry a +0.0 handicap. Enjoy life and God bless.
In my opinion, these clubs are the best irons Nike ever made for mid to low handicappers. Easy to hit, easy to control and great distance. Too bad they will no longer be made.
