I did a lot of research into a good quality camera that met all my needs and this was it. I just got back from a holiday and can honestly say that this little camera was fantastic. The photos and movies are great quality and it is easy to use with a variety of user friendly features. I am very hard on my cameras and already dropped this one with no damage. I would recommend the Nikkon AW100 to everyone. Go ahead and give it a go.
I have been using these cameras for five years, they work well in hot and cold areas and of course underwater. Do Not go too deep with these cameras, they have their limits and do not push the lower depths, I introduce my students to these cameras and they are ideal for shallow dives and tops for snorkeling and easy for macro photos.

Very goo camera. Excellent picture and it just looks solid and robust. Easy to operate and the videos look great too.
I'm not exactly a camera buff but i'm also not a technophobe, so i read a few reviews before i paid £180 for this Nikon. It comes out well in the reviews i read so with the holiday looming and camera-less, i plunged in. I find it easy to use and understand. The picture quality is great, in the water and out. The sound quality when downloaded and played through the home computer via the software provided on cd, is fine. I haven't used the GPS on it, neither the panoramic setting or macro, (there are in built settings for every occasion) because they are slightly more complicated, but there is a manual book for it and a helpful cd. So, in conclusion i would recommend this camera for people who want above average pictures or short hd digital movies. Its great for 'pool' holidays because of the waterproof feature. Really like this camera.Read full review
