Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Video Game Consoles
When I saw the Nintendo Switch ads, I was doubtful the console would actually work that well — switching from handheld to tabletop to TV mode, all without pausing your game or changing settings... but it works, and it works pretty darn well. I’ve been playing Super Mario Odyssey (a game that I would wholeheartedly recommend) and it’s so easy to switch from playing on the TV to going into portable mode. The controls are great, much better than I was expecting from such small controllers. The graphics are surprisingly good, especially when playing on TV. The battery life in portable mode is apparently 3 hours but I haven’t run into any issues where it’s died while playing. One of the best things is the ease of multiplayer — I bought Just Dance 2018, and it’s incredibly easy for someone else to pick up the second Joycon and join in (or use the mobile app)! Overall, I highly recommend the Switch.Read full review

In all honesty, I thought the Switch was a stupid idea that would semi-fail like the Wii U. Well, I've been proven so wrong it's not funny. Don't get me wrong, it's made of plastic and is a little cheap, but it's the best plastic and it still manages to feel 'premium' somehow. Also, gone are the CDs, replaced with small cartridges and that's a big plus for me. The unit itself is only 720p, but looks superb, and the 1080p upscaling looks even better. People will notice the poorer graphics in games with less 'cartoony' aesthetics, but I'm still very pleased. As a portable gaming device, it's the best on the market. It won't fit in your pocket, and it doesn't have the biggest library, but from an experience point of view, nothing beats it. In terms of where it excels, it's the seamless transition from portable gaming to playing on the TV. This is where I thought it would fail badly, but it doesn't. Also, you can buy multiple docks for multiple TVs, which only heightens its versatility. However, all the accessories are fairly expensive, which is a drawback. I usually reserve 5 stars for products that knock my socks off, but the Switch -- given my smug disapproval -- is worth it.Read full review

Love it. Being bingeing on Zelda and now Mario! Good balance between innovation and intuitive classic approach.

A great portable console. Great selection of family friendly games. Does not have a sturdy build. I would recommend buying a protective case with it. Especially if young kids are the main users.

The ability to instantly drop in and out of a game compliments the portability of the Nintendo Switch. Not having to set up everyone around a TV (although you can if you want to) means you can quickly jump into a race or battle with friends and family anywhere and anytime. Mario Kart is packed with new and classic tracks and characters that bridges the gap between generations allowing anyone to pick up and play with ease.
