First things first, the 6" screen isn't for everyone, it is more suited for someone with large hands (like myself) or someone who drives their smartphone with two hands. That being said, this screen is one of the best looking you will ever put your eyes on. It takes some adjusting to get used to such a large screen, but after an hour of playing around with it, you will find it hard going back to a smaller display. My wife is constantly asking to surf the web on it as you see more of a page than on her puny iPhone. The 20mp camera takes stunning photos, and I have a hard time telling the difference between the photos taken on my phone compared to my DSLR. The front facing 1.2mp camera also takes nice selfies if your into that sort of thing. There is something magical about this phone running WP8.1 (via the developer preview) it is extremely zippy on the new OS and doesn't have any hint of lag at all. And don't get me started on the battery life. On a full charge I easily get two full days, and I am not what you would call a moderate or light user. I am constantly using my phone to browse reddit, play games/music, surf the web etc etc. 2 FULL DAYS. Now alot of people whine that "there aren't many apps on Windows Phone" to them I say, HOGWASH. Windows Phone has come along way and developers are releasing (and updating) apps so they are near on par with iOS and Android. Sure you will find a few specialized apps that aren't on WP, but if there isn't an official app, there is usually an equivalent that is just as good if not better than the official app (6tag vs Instagram being a good example). I could proclaim how great this phone is for hours, but if you are sitting on the fence about this phone, get it. This phone is awesome. All my workmates scoffed when they saw me using it, but after having a play with it, many agree it is an awesome phone. If you do get one, get yourself a good quality case.Read full review
Good build quality, even though it's plastic, it is SOLID plastic, unlike the Nexus or the Galaxy range (I have/do own both). Windows 8 leaves much to be desired, and at the writing of this, 8.1 hasn't arrived yet, and I am sure this will alter my final thoughts. Good platform for software developers. Cheap in price when compared to other phones, but build quality per price is very good. It's a very fast phone performance wise. It has a good camera which has an array of features which some DSLR professional photographers appreciate. The screen is gorgeous, and great for when you are "on the road" and you need the next best thing to a laptop or tablet. (3.5" doesn't cut it at all) Is is large though, and will fit in your pockets if you upgrade your pockets, but it will fit unlike a tablet that won't.Read full review
