I was looking for an alternative to the usual Android and Apple iphones. So I was intrigued by the new Windows Mobile phones. I figured that I would give the Nokia a go since the initial reviews were very good from the selection of Windows Mobile phones. Once I bought the phone, I was pleasantly surprised. It's a great phone, which is easy, pleasant, and fun to use. It has the most of the useful apps I had whilst using my old android, and the apple ones too. Sometimes the touch is a little too sensitive, but I think this experience is improving over time. Compared to my old HTC android and Apple iphone, I would not go back to either platforms for the time being. Nokia Lumia 800 is a thumbs up for something looking for a more stable experience compared to Android phones, and something different than the iPhone offering with slightly better battery life.Read full review
I have always had Nokia phones and this latest did not disapoint. Easy to use and navigate, has a nice feel and not to large. The battery could last longer but this may inprove after a dozen charges. I would recomend this phone to others
Bought two of them, this is such a good phone for the price. The features are very good as well easy to use and run very smoothly. the thing that I love the most is multitouch feature wihich is very soft..even though the applications for WP is limited and not as masive as for android market, I believe the developers would develope more apps for WP in the future. other minor issue is battery life which is slightly a way from the official explanation..however, updating the OS would extend the life of battery..(that what I heard from the microsoft website..but will see.
I needed a new phone for work and I thought of giving this a go due to the office software. I am able to receive emails containing spreadsheets,Word docs and pdf files easily without finding a suitable app to do so. I have my work email and my personal email set up on the Phone and it works a treat. I would definitely say BUY this phone if your on the move a lot and revieve a lot of emails on the go. last but not least the camera works pretty good and having the availability to use micro sd cards helps in saving more data without the need of a laptop.
I bought the product because I am looking for a cheap phone with reasonable review and inclusions (eg. cameras). This model are offered for 1/2 of the RRP price due to retails giving it away. The phone itself is terrific. Clear pics even under bright sunlight, touchscreen is sensitive enough, and many useful apps. Good receptions as well. I have to re-learn on how to use Windows Phone and luckily Nokia forum are pretty good in helping you learn quickly. Moreover, Windows Phone 7.5 (the phone's OS) cannot sync direct with PC's Outlook. We can only sync our contacts thru Gmail or Hotmail. It may not be able to beat the "Kings of Smartphones" like iPhone or Samsung Galaxy, but for the price, I'm happy.
