The book with the most effective couples' therapy
I checked this book out from my local library and couldn't put it down. Every paragraph leads you to the next and makes you wan't to keep reading. What I love the most about this book is that it is very neutral, it doesn't take the affair partner or the betrayed partner's side. This book shows you steps to take before deciding to have an affair, after the affair, and how to repair all the damage that's been done. This book is very helpful in part because it gives you so many couples'cases and situations that were the author's personal clients. They are real stories of real people that have betrayed or have been betrayed. I HIGHLY recommend this book for couples, singles, betrayed spouses, divorcees; for anyone regardless of age, gender, marital status, or religion. This book will help you how to prevent yourself or your spouse from straying, it will help you to put your marriage back how it used to be regardless if an affair has happened or not, and it will help you mend your broken heart if you've been betrayed. It shows you that it's not the end of the road, that EVERY marriage is vulnerable of an infidelity even if it's a happy marriage because the reasons behind unfaithful people vary a lot and none are the same reasons. Some pluses in the books are tons of survey polls, quizzes to take, facts, statistics, etc.Read full review

Helpful book when an affair rocks your world
Although I haven't read it cover to cover, I have read the chapters pertinent to my current situation and found it very helpful. The for,at ion that I like th most is that there are actual statistics, which are important to my overthinking brain. Story read just like mine except I won't have the chance to reconcile mine, as my husband kicked me out to be with his affair partner. That is why I only read the chapters pertaining to my specific issues. Highly recommended if you find yourself in this most horrifying situation.

This is one of best books for spouses that have been cheated on in any way no matter if it was non sexual or sexual to read. It also is great for the cheating spouse to read to help them understand and get it through to their ego that cheating, betrayal and infidelity in a marriage or relationship takes on many hats is not just about a sexual encounters in the physical form.

This is book is excellent for anyone who has been betrayed or in an emotional or physical extramarital affair. It has practical information and gives practical advice. It is well written and easy to understand. It is a great comfort for the betrayed partner. I have read many books on the subject and this one is the best.

GREAT BOOK, helpful but hard
I have learned alot and when put to use it really does work. Worth every penny and then some. I recommend this book to all, engaged, married, betrayed or not betrayed. This book is not just for those that have cheated or that have been cheated on. If you are a betrayed spouse you need to be warned that this book can be very hard to read as it may bring up alot of heart wrenching thoughts, but well worth the effort to push through to the end.
