It seems to work quite well however there are two points I think need looking at. The default low cut out point of 10.5 volts I believe is a bit too low for long battery life From what I have read about this, most battery advice suggests not going below 11.5 volts. And I think most of us just assume the default setting will be ok. The other issue is the high voltage cut out point. I am using a DC-DC charger and I did have a calcium battery for my auxiliary one but the charger actually initially charges this type of battery at just over 16 volts, which means the power is switched off to the fridge. I don't know if this causes a major problem or not as I don't know how long before the voltage drops to a point where it turns back on but I wonder if the maximum could be safely raised by a fraction of a volt to allow for DC-DC chargers and calcium batteries. I have now replaced the battery with an AGM battery and chosen the setting on the charger to suit this, so no longer have that problem but it may be worth looking at.Read full review
