This ES-LV61 Arc 5 is the best shaver I have ever used. I have been using wet/dry shavers for as long as I can remember. Went through three Arc 4's in about 6 years because it is almost cheaper than buying new foil and blades. The only problem with the Arc 4 is that the displat slowly gets messed up from the water, slowly missing parts of the display. The other problem with the Arc 4 is that when charging is complete the display blinks bright blue... until it is unplugged. The finally changed that, I hope the display does not get messed up from the water as time goes on. BUT the main point is that the shaver is awesome, clean, tight shave in all directions, in all areas. Previously I had the charging station and do not miss it at all as I shave in the shower and just click off the shaver top and rinse. Each charge lasts over one week of daily shaves and the Arc 5 takes less time to shave than with the Arc 4, without obnoxious bright blue "charge complete" blinking light. Awesome!Read full review

I used to shave with rotative shavers, but reading the different comments about this shaver, I bought it and I'm disapointed because it's hard to find a full shave without using as complement my manual shaver or the old rotative shaver and this wasn't the idea when I bought it. The shaver has a big head and it's hard to make a full shave of the moustache area, close to the nose and also it's hard to find a full shave at the neck area

I have had a Panasonic predecessor for 10 years and never had a problem. But as manufactures like to do----THEY STOP MAKING BLADES SO YOU HAVE TO BUY A NEW MODEL! I was fortunate enough to purchase an open box of this model for $110, but I would pay full price, if not more and this is last years model. The newer models do NOT have the rechargeable cord that can plug into the razor, instead you have a bulky unit, which in some models apparently wash the razor. First of all I don't really want to "display" my razor unit for all to ogle over like it was a $50,000 Krell Sound system. It is a razor and in my opinion should be hidden, like your plunger. Second, I live in a typical New York City apartment with a typical small bathroom, with a typical small sink counter and surely it would end up in the adjacent toilet at least once a week, just as does the soap dispenser. GREAT RAZOR and intend to buy another oneRead full review

This is the Panasonic top electric razor model without the cleaning system which is a waste of money. These are easily cleaned with soap and water. The razor shaves amazingly smooth and comfortable.I have used safety razors for almost 50 yrs until now. I have tried other electric razors over the yrs but none can equal this jewel. Shaves as close as anything pretty much.

I have tried several electric shavers but this one is with out a doubt the best I have ever used. It shaves as close as a blade. No kidding. I highly recommend it.
