I had a 260 and loved it. the 360 holds more line ,larger spool, and retrieves faster. plus I caught a thirty five inch red drum on it the first day I used it. penn slammer reels are my favorite reels.

Braided line winds onto spool in a cone shape causing casting errors, tangles and wind knots. Monofilament backing line also wound in a cone shape but mono might cast better on this reel. Seller told me this was normal for this reel but issue could be corrected with plastic washers-- it can't. This reel doesn't seem to be available from any US sellers- is it really a Penn?

Nice solid older design. All these have a slight line lay problem if the spool is very full. This one is like that.

When I ordered for this Penn Slammer 360 Spining Reel I was understanding it was Saltwater resistants. Penn's high-grade stainless steel ball bearings were designed for performance in a marine environment but no facts that show on paper of the information for proof that these both Penn Reels the 260 also the 360 Slammers that are (Saltwater Resistants) Marine Environment is not good enough proof of information for Saltwater Resistants.

One of the smoothest best reels ever made. This price is far less than what they used to cost.
