This is an excellent SLR camera - light weight even with the lens attached. Ideal for outback travel photography because it is water and dust resistant - with the added bonus of having a dust removal feature for the interior at the press of a button. About the only thing I was disappointed in is that one must always use the viewfinder because there is no option to frame the intended image on the monitor. The option to use a remote as well as time-lapse is an advantage in that one does not need to rush to pose oneself in a shot. The auto focus feature with all focal length lenses suitable for the K-mount is very handy should one not wish to fiddle with F-stops, distances and twiddling the focus ring. Compared with my 1980 ME Super it is like comparing a Mini Moke with a Bentley.
