This is the game if you to play next (or first) if you played the recently released Persona 5 and couldn't get enough. There is a shinier 'Golden' version of the game released for the Vita, but if you don't have a Vita or a (now ridiculously expensive) PS TV then PS2 is still the most accessible means to get to this game. Persona 4 is very similar to Persona 5 (I haven't played 3, but there is a PS2 version) High School setting, Social Links management, Dungeon Crawling (which can become a bit wearing until you get your SP sorted) with a great plot and same blend of weird and wonderful characters all played over a calendar year. The game can be played turn-based (my old-school preference) or by setting preferred actions for each party member. There are the same stylistic flaws as Persona 5 with minority groups being poorly portrayed (much worse in P4) and much of the cringe-worthy inuendo could simply have been left out TBH. But this is a Japanese game and it is very much based in the cultural sensitivities or lack thereof 'of the day'. The game is best played on a Standard Def TV or a HD TV that has great scale up / or decent scale back resolution. If you don't have a great HD TV then the gameplay may seem a bit blurry. (It was made for 480 after all). Highly recommended.Read full review

This game is one that I've had my eyes on for a long time and wasn't able to get due to the price. Until I saw this listing which was reasonably cheaper than the other ones that I've found. Highly recommended to anyone who is either into old school JRPGs, or people who are getting into the Persona series.

Was packaged great! The CD? Not even a scratch and the inside contained very well. I’ll definitely come back again.
