    Do you only have 1/2 a headset?

    If you somehow have an expensive call center headset and now want to use it to make Skype (R) calls from la computadora, go ahead, buy this adapter instead of, using the free earbuds you have and the built in microphone? Well, slight reduction in ambient noise and in the laptop mic picking up the sound of the fan. No, not that expensive and nice to have, you may need to do an important video call interview someday, now you have a headset that will sound great. Maybe it will pay for itself. Niche product. Works. You know if you need/want it or not.

    Works great with the Plantronics headset and my computer.

    Somewhat hard to find but required accessory to connect my Plantronics headset to my computer. I like the convenience of having all the controls for the phone right within reach. Easily separates from the headset so if I need to leave my desk, I don't have to remove the headset.

    Works perfectly with my Platronics HW720. Word of advice to whoever choosing and buying about the 4 pins (DA80) which fit this one, but the 6-pins (DA90) does not.
