? and the Mysterians are best known for "96 Tears," a #1 hit, but they also charted with "I Need Somebody" (#22), "Can't Get Enough of You, Baby" (#56), "Girl (You Captivate Me)" (#98), and "Do Something to Me" (#11). In spite of those successes, my favs are "Set Aside," a jazzy piano-driven instrumental that's unlike anything else on the disc, and "Love Me Baby (Cherry July)." The band can stretch out on occasion as their cover of The Isley Brothers' "Shout (Part 1 & 2)" shows. A load of toe tappers here. No text. Limited booklet.
