I love this book, I bought it on ebay at a fantastic price. I love sewing, with this book it gives you easy to read instructions and a list of the all the items you will need to make your chosen item, and there are lovely colourful illustrations too. There are over 140 easy to follow projects. This book gave me lots of other ideas too. I have made a quilt already and have only had the book for a couple of weeks. You can change the designs to suit and match your own rooms. There are so many to choose from or you can make up your own designs and colours. There are loads of projects to make, and every item you make in your own style and colours is unique. I have made a quilt from this book by hand. But now I have a super embroidery sewing machine which makes it easier and quicker to make. I can honestly say there is nothing I dislike about this book. Compared to other books I have, this is the best, especially if you are new to quilting. I wasted a lot of time going round bookshops and not finding what I wanted. Like this book includes complete sewing and quilting template patterns for all the projects - everything needed to make and then quilt the items. I especially love one of the hats but all of the projects presented are lovely and designed to teach or build on hand and/or machine quilting skills. Good purchase, glad I have it.
