Excellent 24bit !wow! At first i was a little confused with the manual but i was just lazy and was really looking at the pictures but once i read it it was magical. I love this interface and would highly recommend it. For the price it holds up to its name and alot better then my much more expensive sound cards which i no longer use because this nanoface hands down rocks :) im a happy music producer.

The original RME Babyface is a sweet piece of kit. Best drivers in the biz especially on the PC platform where problems abound. I own the Babyface Pro as well and there is almost no audible difference. I say 'almost' because the headphone amp is louder on the new model which may give the impression it sounds better. On speakers via digital output, there is no difference. I actually like the breakout cable. Latency was also improved on the new model but again it is negligible. Once you go RME you never look back... Buy it!

I bought the RME Babyface as a first time home recording enthusiast. This little monster allows me to record audio in crystalline quality, and easily control playback and monitoring through either headphones or speakers. A word of caution: if you've never done any recording before, the built in software (TotalMix FX) can be a little daunting—it's not very user-friendly (for reference, I'm running it into GarageBand right now... total n00b). However, if you have and you know your way around a mixing board, you'll be very pleased by how much stuff the software can do! Route anything to anything! I will definitely not be buying a mixer. Plus, it's portable as heck! I can put all necessary cables and the interface into a carrying case the size of an iPad. This thing is worth every penny, and I will likely never upgrade again. Even if I ever need to record more than two channels at once, there's a breakout cable that will give you more channels. Overall an incredible buy!!Read full review
If you do your research you will find there simply is no other soundcard that can come close to the drivers this thing has. Its stable beyond words. No jitter and pretty much the best sounding soundcard in the world.

Excellent device for use as a portable studio. But I bought it not been for this, and unfortunately was somewhat disappointed. Output power and a "subjective width of panorama" compared with racks audio interfaces Apogee Rosetta 200 and MOTU 1224 is somewhat lower, especially panorama. This device does not live up to expectations for use in my studio. So, I think that the price is somewhat overstated. I would not give $ 760, as I bought myself. Real price some $ 600-650. I hope my opinion is helpful. Thank you.
