I've also used this on records from the early 1970s that have been neglected and played quite poorly. I have to admit I was surprised at how well it works. For people how have old records like some of mine that hiss and pop quite dramatically but which don't have serious scratches, you'll find the improvement is quite dramatic. Absolutely as good as claimed.

I've tried various methods to clean my records. This is by far the best. The ones I've used it on so far look and - more importantly - *sound* pristine! Actually, I was so impressed with the result that I went back and bought three more bottles! Yes, it works out more expensive that some of the other budget gadgets and DIY approaches, but it's much more effective and safe (IMHO). Highly recommended if you can afford it and, well, if you have the necessary patience.

Been purchasing Record Revirginizer since 2010 and I've cleaned and restored over 400 10" & 12" LPs and some EPs & singles. It enhances sound quality and removes any crackles and pops that was heard on my records with conditions between Excellent, Near Mint and Mint. It made records appeared in Very Good condition sound more like Excellent. I would recommend this to any vinyl collector, however I wouldn't use this on records which are priceless. Be careful as this formula only applies to vinyl LPs and singles and not for 78 rpm shellac & acetate records as it contains alcohol.

This is is the second bottle of Record Revirginizer I've bought. I've used this on records pressed in the 1970's and 1980's. They can sometimes sound better than they did when new!
