With its 3 floating heads this razor is pretty easy on the face. But its most unusual feature is the noise level - very quiet. Almost too quiet. I have trouble telling it is turned on and at first wondered if it was working properly. After dropping one on my tile floor (and breaking it) I purchased a replacement and it too was very quiet. The shaver cuts pretty well. It can even handle hairs that are lying flat on the skin. It is very easy to clean - I pop it open with 1 hand and shake out the clippings (the head is hinged). I always leave mine plugged in. The Li batteries don't seem to mind. I would give it 5 stars if the pop-up trimmer weren't so lame. It doesn't lock into place and tends to refold while in use. The razor fits my hand well and is easy to use. Unfortunately it is not as good a quality as I have received in the past. I would also say the blades are not very sharp and it has a tendency to pull the hair. This may be a blade problem more than a razor problem as the last set of replacement blades I bought for my old razor were not very sharp either.

This shaver is a replacement for an older model. The older shaver is built better but doesn't shave any better. The lithium batteries make the shaver lighter and their performance is an improvement over the older cordless shavers. Some things on this shaver feel flimsy, the head release button being one. Over all it is not a bad shaver for the money I spent for the refurbished model. I would buy another when the heads need replacement as the total cost was not much more than the heads alone cost.

The shaver works good-- close shave and the trimmer is excellent. I had a Norelco and frankly, the Norelco is a more solid shaver but the Remington equalizes due to the price. However, the plastic shaver head retainer is subpar quality and I ultimately removed the part to make it run quieter. while this part was in the razor, I couldn't shave close to my ear due to the sound being too loud. Removing the blade retainer doesn't effect the cutting function but now , if not careful, cleaning the head without the plastic retainer may allow the blades to fall out. I'm satisfied with the razor and would recommend it for the price.

This razor replaced my 15 year old Remington. It was less money to buy a new one than replace parts so that's what I did. My wife is very happy with the performance ... no more razor burn.
