More than I needed, more features than original...
Definitively an upgrade from the small cheesy original remote (which worked fine), but this one has way more features than I really use. I only need it to turn the receiver On/Off, change the volume and input source, and that's really it. I wouldn't say it was of higher quality because it's plastic as well (and the slide down door is not easy to move from closed to open), but it's fine for what I need it for. What is better is the battery door; if you drop some remotes the door and batteries go flying, but not this one.
