Easy to operate
The best feature of the Sangean Radio is that it can be used without turning on the light. The operation buttons as so easy to navigate in the dark. I am a light sleeper and spend hours awake in bed. Sangean preserves my sanity. Easy to turn on and the preset radio stations are very easy to change. The inbuilt timer turns itself off as you have been sent to sleep. I purchased one two years ago and it is still going strong. I just purchased another for my husband and he said the ease of use of the Sangean is so much better than other radios he has tried over the years.The best feature of the Sangean Radio is that it can be used without turning on the light. Worth the money!
I had quite a bit of trouble setting it up. Firstly the two batteries go in facing the same direction, which I have never struck before! Then you must set the clock etc., but once that was done it was all fine. It is extra small & light which I like, as I use it whilst on long walks. The sound is much better than my old Sony, & doesn't easily get distorted by movement.

great radio without features
Hi I bought this online...and it said " carry case" , but there was NO carry pouch in the packet! I have this radio with pouch before -it is a good feature - and was really disappointed ! :( Why advertise the carry pouch if it is not included?
