Absolutely beautiful guitar all-around. I've been playing for 30 years, always on "entry level" or "budget" level guitars (less than around $600) because I'm not a professional musician and don't have the means to pay more. This is the best instrument I've had the pleasure of playing in that price range and in many cases better than instruments priced much higher. The wide fret board with low action (no buzzing) elevated my playing ability instantly. And top that off with amazing tone, tight but full low end, and beautiful volume from the resonance of the body (that curved top and whatever other treatment they do to the body is magic). Playing this thing is a blissful experience. I can't imagine buying a brand other than Seagull ever again. I tend to be attracted to instruments with special finishes and extra gadgets, etc. but all that extraneous stuff isn't needed. I'm so glad I went with this classic.Read full review

The guitar feels perfectly balanced. Fit and finish is superb. The quality that is apparent in the guitar combined with the reasonable price made it a bargain I could not resist. I've watched the Godin factory tour on YouTube so I am familiar with the materials and painstaking detail used to create the guitar. It's a first class instrument worth much more than it sells for. I looked into many of the other guitars in the price range comparable to this one and watched factory tour videos of those brands. I was most impressed with The Godin innovations and and methods used to make their guitars. A great guitar. A wonderful bargain

I had a Seagull once before and it played so well and the strings lay so close to the neck, you barely have to press for a pristine sounding chord. This one proves once again that Seagull is just an absolutely divine brand. I LOVE it. Whoever had it before took wonderful care of it and boxed it up special as well as loosening the strings so that it would arrive safely to me. I thank them as well. This Tennesse Red has a new homeπ

Great sounding and looking guitar. Lovely finish on cedar top and dark wild cherry body. Notes project with much clarity, ring and sustain. Wide roomy neck perfect for fingerpicking style. Good volume from treble to bass. I've wondered about the S6 for years and have other cedar top acoustics at home..but still surprised at the quality and performance of this guitar. Happy to have this instrument!

I'm a beginning guitar player. One of the things that I have been told is that it is important as a beginner not to have to fight the instrument. Poor guitars and poor setup make life even more difficult. With this in mind I carefully checked a bunch of reviews and the Seagull seemed like meeting the sweet spot of not too expensive but still a nice instrument. My faith was justified when it arrived. I got a luthier (guitar tech!) to check it out for me and he said it had very little wrong with it and needed minimal setup. I stress I'm only a beginner but too me it has a nice tone, it is easy to play, it looks really beautiful and I look forward to practicing on it each day. There is really nothing I don't like. Maybe a Martin at 10x the price would be better but at my stage I'm not good enough to know.Read full review
