    A positive gift at a transitional time

    I work with kids in care and this is the book we use. This copy was going or my own daughter. It's a good gift to come from a dad/male carer as it breaks down some conventional barriers. You don't have to engage in intense discussion, just the act of giving the book is a positive step at a transitional time. Good luck with your own precious little people 😊

    I Bought this book for my ten year old daugther as an introductory to becoming a women and what that entails.She has aspergers so sometimes copes better with reading things in book then she is happy to talk about issues. Great book, keeps it simple yet informative. Perfect talking point to share with the young women in your life.Illustrations are simple and written work is age appropriate. My daughter found it simple to read and I have seen her using it as a reference point.

    Great book - Needs references to menstrual cups and fabric reusable pads

    Great book - I brought this book as tool to discuss life changes with my daughter. I hope the next edition makes references to menstrual cups and fabric reusable pads, there are more choices than disposable pads and tampons.
