Dr Donald McMiken is a former academic who has published over a hundred scientific and review articles, essays, chapters in texts and reports. His reporting includes magazine feature articles as far afield as Scandinavia, England, France, USA, Canada, South Africa and Australia. He has been an editor of Australian Journal of sports Medicine and is a freelance writer and editor. Dr McMiken has taught at universities in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Sweden.
