For 15 years I have been using a $15 sand wedge bought at a local sports warehouse type store. Don't let the price fool you, the club was my go to inside of 100 yards. You could say that we had an understanding, and other players noticed. :-) Alas the face and groves were worn smooth and it was time to update. I am very happy that I did. At address the black face inspires confidence. But it is the grooves which steal the show though. One of my favorite practice swings with the RTX is hitting back spin shots from inside of 20 yards. The short, slower shot, allows me to watch the face bite into the back of the ball creating a rip cord like backspin. On full swings the ball hold onto the green with ease.
I love these wedges. I can really put a lot of spin on my approach shots with these. One hop then stop. The black finish is great at reducing the sun's glare also. At a cost of about $83 each with free shipping included you can't go wrong. The 56 degree is perfect for green side bunker shots.
Nice design, easy to use.

Cleveland is known for their wedges for a reason. They are a nice upgrade from Callaway for me.
