This is a basic phone on steroids. I like the idea of a basic phone to get away from being connected all the time, away from the apps, lack of privacy, etc... I just wanted a basic phone with a few features such as LTE service, internet capability when necessary, good battery life, and a phone that can text and receive email. Is that asking too much? The XP5 hits the mark on LTE service, internet capability, and has great call clarity and volume. The XP5 also has a super long battery life, I am talking several days before charging is necessary. The XP5 is very durable and could be used for self defense if necessary. I am not kidding, its like a small brick. However, texting on this phone is a challenge and takes awhile to get used to, especially if coming from a smartphone. The screen is too small to read attachments sent by text or email. If you do not text or surf the internet much and need a good reliable phone that you don't have to charge every 4 hours, this is the phone for youRead full review

The phone worked fine as well as the features. My main complaint is that it will not sync with my email, there actually is not button for email!?! I could not upload my contacts from google either. Because of the above issues, I returned the XP5700 and purchased an iphone.

I had a rugby and this phone isn't as easy to use as that one. though it has all the same features. it's larger than a flip phone since it doesn't flip. the 4g gives me better service than the 3g. I have an Iconnect from Isimple in my car to have hands free, this phone connects when I start up the car automatically that my rugby didn't. the phone has the push to talk feature like my other phone, but the button is big and I seem to always press it when I touch the phone and you have to clear that error by hitting the end call button, like I say it has annoying quirks like that. it's not a bells and whistles phone, though you can set up a hot spot with it. the manual could be alot better, so you will have to figure out many of the features yourself. it will work for you once you get used to it. speaker volume is loud and clear. the usb, power connector is unique but you can order them online.Read full review

You can't get better for seriousness if your looking for a simple strong phone that doesn't feel like it will break out of the box. This phone superseded my expectations, from its exceptional styling, easy to use keypad, long battery life. Going on 70 hours, near 3 days of heavy use learning its functions and the battery level is at 74%. Amazing. The phone plugs into my computer with ease and works like any drive, no hassles! No silly software needed to transfer files. Just file folders that are easily accessible to transfer music, photo's, videos. Accesses WiFi routers and cruise the internet with ease, fluently. The speakers are amazing, no cheap mouse like sound. The speakers are bold with base and people, music or video sound as if the actual person is standing right in front of you. The FM radio music station option requires earphones to be plugged in to activate, however you can switch to normal speakers and listen to the phone 100 feet away with perfect clarity. The radio reads the station ID and songs playing across the screen too. The torch/light is near twice as bright as the light on my son's iPhone and my other sons Samsung Galaxy 6. No this isn't a smart phone that plays games or any real fancy things. But for the individual who wants a super quality camera/camcorder with flash and up to 4x zoom, calculator, calendar, radio, basic net access for email/facebook, super battery, this phone can't be beat in the basic model class. I wear heavy leather work gloves and can manipulate the keypad without fail. It's a piece of mind to know this phone would survive a two story drop to the pavement if it slipped from my pocket, or got left out in the rain overnight. I can take this phone into the harshest environments for weeks without a charge. It's durable and will outlast any other phone out there. This phones designed for rugged use and simple, yet basic necessities. It is not a phone you will walk around all day with your face glued too.Read full review
