Seville singer/songwriter José Manuel Soto, who rose to fame in the late '80s as a performer of mainstream romantic ballads, sevillanas, and rumbas, celebrates the 25th anniversary of his career with his first live release, the two-CD/DVD set Concierto en la Maestranza de Sevilla by Soto & Amigos. The concert took place in June 2011 at Seville's Real Maestranza bullring, and all proceeds were given to charity. Soto sings all of his best-known material in the company of colleagues and friends such as José Mercé, Los Morancos, Arcángel, Lolita, Rosario Flores, Antonio Carmona, Pastora Soler, Estrella Morente, Cantores de Híspalis, Rafa Serna, Marcos Soto, and many more. ~ Mariano Prunes
