I have used Stauns before but because of cost reasons I opted for a cheaper make. It was brass and appeared well made BUT it was utterly useless. The pressure was never constant. If I left it to do its job I’d like as not end up with a dead flat tyre or some at 10 psi and some at 25. Stauns are accurate always. If you want the best just pay up once only and be satisfied with peace of mind every time you go beach fishing!

I have bought a few different brass tyre deflators before the same as this but i find them bulky and not very fast at deflating, this staun delflaton i find is the original and still the best at speed and it precision deflating, it also come in a nice leather pouch which feels premium to the touch I liked this staun deflator so much i bought another set for my 4x4 one for 18psi and the other for 12psi these presures are common in australia i think 2 sets are the way to go.....space is a premium in touring setup so dont bother with them 2 in 1 tyre deflators there so bulky and super expensive... I hope this helps

A mate showed me these, they’re pre-set and make dropping your tyre pressures so easy. These will be the third type of deflator I’ve used and are by far the quickest and easiest for anybody to use.

Staun tyre deflators are reliable accurate and never let me down other then my tyres. We use them evertime we go to Fraser Island.I have never adjusted them, they give the perfect tyre pressure for sand driving. I just purchased another set for my son .
