The stepper can not be adjusted the strength itself that much. If you weigh under 120 lbs / weak leg muscle, this sure is a pretty good workout. My weight is light, each step require quite a bit of strength, you can not do it too fast enough in a way. After I started using this machine, my legs kept getting bad cramp, work up in the middle of night often. I don't know if I ever get used to this or not, my husband weighs 190 lbs, he doesn't have any problem with it.

It is very nice and compact. But the cylinders are extremely stiff, so it makes it hard on the knee's. The first couple of steps are ok! then it is like each step gets harder because it is building up pressure in the cylinders. I was really hoping that it would move easily so you could really twist and step, and get moving. Instead i only use it about 5 steps and then walk away, Because it makes my knee's hurt. I contacted the manufacturer about a lighter cylinder they said they do not make any for it. So it pretty much just sits. I have not really used the bands either.

This stepper is great when you don't have much space for big bulky exercise equipment. It also provides a good workout with resistance adjustment. The bands help to give you a full body workout. When space is limited or you just don't want a lot of exercise equipment taking up space...this works well.

Built solid, definitely the best out there for the money. This unit is better than any in its price range. Adjustable resistance and stride length, nice computer and adjustable resistance bands for a complete workout. Definitely would recommend.
