I am using tthe modem for satellite broadband. On first glance it is difficult to understand how to configure the modem for anything but DSL connection, but a few reads of the manual showed how to configure the modem for its alternate duty! This could have been more clearly set out in the manual. The broadcast power of the two bands is good - covers my whole house and outside into the yard. Features of the unit appear comprehensive but I am not a 'techie' and my needs are pretty straightforward So far I have only had to reboot it once (in 2 weeks) which vastly beats the performance of my previous router Overall this a nice efficient modem with good features

This modem/router set up was not as straightforward as other units I've had. In the past it was literally out of the box, minimal configuration, auto settings and up and running in about 40 minutes. This unit required several calls to my ISP for help and remote configuration, the X-Box went from running to not at all, I still experience dropouts at random times, smart television went from continually connected to sometimes with this unit. All very frustrating and takes alot of trial and error to keep connected. The supply and delivery of the modem cannot be faulted. The instructions given are very inadequate. All up I'd say of all the modem routers I've owned/set up it was probably the worst one in terms of overall performance.

I'm not a tech wiz, but for a dual band modem/router this is great. Easy to set up (less than a minute) and simple to navigate if want to do specific things with it (which I needed to for my VoIP phone and Google showed me how easily). Would happily buy this again

Bought to upgrade wireless to Dual band. Found the surprise bonus was that internet speed increased on our ADSL Connection from 1.8 to 5.6MBS. This makes our internet much more usable. It was very simple to set up and configure and it has had no dropouts or loss of link. I am relay pleased with it.
