Even before its release, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, a household name. That is, if you're living in a household who adored the previous offering, Oblivion, or are right into gaming of the role playing type. There are a great many reviews available for this title already and I won't attempt to rival them in content or detail however I bought the PS3 version of this product simply because I didn't have a PC at the time. I had held off buying it as I wasn't sure a PS3 would do it justice. I couldn't have been more wrong. Upon the recommendation of a friend who already had completed the game on the PS3 I bit the bullet and bought the game. It plays and controls well, is rich in story and side story, has a great many hours of entertainment and can be played to a level that could satisfy either a hardcore gamer or for lighthearted entertainment. I waver somewhere in between, and my experience has been great. I recommend this game to anyone who loves fantasy games. I'd even recommend this to anyone who hasn't developed that interest but enjoyed the likes of The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit or some of the other great stories of might and magic.Read full review
After having played through Elder Scrolls Oblivion and being drawn into the world and its adventures, I was excited to get my hands on Skyrim. The game is similar in most ways, but is much bigger in all respects. Great game! The only critisism I have of the game is the glitches. Save often, and your experience will be positive
Excellent game. This game has a lot of characters to be chosen. Storyline is reasonable and exciting. Heaps of Quests to play. skills are variable. You can enjoy this game for long time, I've been playing for 2 months now still enjoy.
Excellent purchase. Lots of things to do in this epic game. A must buy for RPG and adventure fans. 2014 and still a great game for your playstation 3.
I purchased this product as I was majorly hooked on the PS3 predecessor Oblivion and have heard nothing but great reviews of Skyrim since its release. Although I have only managed to play a small percentage of the game thus far it has all the promise of being equal to if not far superior to Oblivion in all aspects, another great addition the the elder scrolls series. If you like fantasy gaming in an open realm environment you will enjoy this game.
