In my opinion, this is a very informative book with a large selection of nice jams, jellies, marmalades, pickles and relish recipes. It also has recipes for unusual treats such as; several different flavored butters, flavored vodkas, many brandied fruits plus interesting condiments. Easy to follow instructions and very friendly for novices. Folks who like this type of cooking would certainly enjoy this book also. I only wish there were photos for the very special recipes, but, since its so well written, you really don't need a photo. If you have a chance to purchase a copy, do so, no matter how many books you already own. A good cook has a well rounded kitchen and plenty of great cookbooks. Never too many.......RIGHT? RIGHT! Enjoy
