OK, alright, that's it. We really mean it this time. The Ramones are gone for good. No more leather jackets, two-minute songs or counting off "1-2-3-4." After 22 years, 2263 shows, 19 albums and eight members, the band credited with kicking off the punk revolution called it quits. WE'RE OUTTA HERE is their final farewell. Recorded in Los Angeles, this live album packs together 32 songs including Ramones classics ("Blitzkrieg Bop," "I Wanna Be Sedated"), favorite covers ("Do You Wanna Dance"), and goofy cartoon themes ("Spiderman"). Naturally enough, famous friends and fans such as Lemmy Kilmister, Eddie Vedder, Rancid members Tim Armstrong and Lars Frederiksen, and Soundgarden's Chris Cornell and Ben Shepard line up to pay homage to these scruffy icons. Prodigal son Dee Dee Ramone (aka Dee Dee King) even returns to salute his former bandmates. As per usual, the Ramones barely stop long enough for Joey Ramone to say a word or two between songs. Check out the accompanying video documentary and all that's left to say is "Gabba Gabba Hey!"
