Author Biography
The definition of success and happiness is not as simple as it sounds. For some people, it's downright confounding. No one knows this more than John R. Morris, aka Morris the Cat. Morris has always had a passion for writing. In the past seventeen years, he has explored his own prose along with the travelogues, journals, and backpacking adventures of others. His passions merged when his dissatisfaction rose and his health and relationships plummeted. He decided to leave his old life behind, become a wanderer for a year of his life, and set out on the Appalachian Trail. He succeeded in reshaping his vision of life, but not before it was stripped down to the bare bones in a way that only hardship and endurance can do. After two thousand miles of hiking, he has his own tale to tell-a tale of living in the Chaotic Unknown.
