This is t your ordinary, run-of-the-mill hamster book. It's t a book about how to select, house and care for your hamster - there are already plenty of good books on that subject. Instead, it's a book about trying to get the most joy possible out of a hamster that you're already doing a great job taking care of, while giving it a rich, full life in the process. What's in it for you? Mostly some great entertainment. The antics of a highly motivated hamster can be quite funny, and are usually much more entertaining than the modern television show. Plus it's a great way to get to kw your pet in a way that many people never do. This book was written with Syrian hamsters in mind. It is quite possible that most or all of the suggestions it contains for hamster-related activities are just as applicable to Chinese or Russian Dwarf hamsters (or even European hamsters if anyone keeps them as pets), but they've only been tested with Syrian hamsters - the most common type of hamster kept as a pet.
Teddy Perednia and her father Dr. Doug Perednia have hosted hamsters with many different personalities and dispositions, and have found ways to have fun with them all. They are continually searching for new and better ways to let hamsters and their owners interact.
